Location: McKay Oval. Centennial Park
Session: 2 x 1km (5) 3:08, 3:14, 4 x 300 (1/3) 51,52,52,52, 4 x 300 (1) 53,52,53,54
Sleep: 7 1/2 hours, seemed to take a while to get settled.
Feeling: Bit tired, including a 15 minute nap on the train on the way to training.
Got there right on the bell of 6pm and did a quick lap of the inside fence to warm up. Didn't feel fantastic. Got through drills and regretted doing abdominal work at the gym at lunch.
Session was again somewhat different to what had been previously advised, and I got through the first 1k not really knowing what the rest of the session was going to be. Paid for it on the second rep. Oh well.
Seemed to go okay through the 300s, which were about the ball park of the session last week. Sting seemed to go out of the legs in the last two reps and I couldn't drag a decent sprint out for them.
Another lap of the inside fence with Easy Tiger to round out the session capped off a pretty long work out.
